Cardboard Boxes
cardboard and plaster | fall 2006
Assigned to research a random object I chose the cardboard box, and alluded its’ function to the idea that modern life is continually putting us in containers. Whether it’s an elevator, a car, a cubicle, or a small apartment most of us frequently find ourselves contained in small spaces. There are two books, one including history, facts, and uses of cardboard boxes and the other book includes imagery of modern society’s containment. To present the project I displayed the books with cardboard box plaster castes.
